Vake is eager to expand the team in Oslo. As an emerging machine learning company in the space domain, we believe we can offer exciting opportunities to work with cutting-edge technology and innovation. It also doesn’t hurt that we have really nice offices in the city centre...
Do you want to work with machine learning, space technology and data fusion this summer? After summer internships in 2020, 2021, and 2022, we will once again repeat the success. Vake is now looking for interns with a technical background to develop our platform further (Python, PyTorch, Postgres, React, Mapbox) in collaboration with our experienced software developers.
You will be a part of integrating new satellite sources, training deep learning models and working full-stack on our API and frontend solutions. We will tailor tasks to your interests, and we guarantee you will learn a lot. As a summer intern at Vake, you will also be a part of a greater summer program with Iterate, where you will meet even more students and mentors through social and educational events.
About Vake:
Vake is a Norwegian machine learning company at the cutting edge of satellite-guided Maritime Domain Awareness. We differ from other satellite data analytics companies with our pure maritime focus, a focus that makes us uniquely positioned to extract and provide deep insights across multiple maritime data sources.
Illegal fishing, assets protection and environmental crimes are immense global challenges. The breakdown of our amphibious ecosystems will affect us for generations to come. Total Maritime Domain Awareness is an important step toward resolving these problems. This is a combined effort, and we want to do our part by providing transparency and accountability for any activity at sea.
Apply by sending us a short motivation letter and CV to connect@vake.ai in Norwegian or English. We will also happily answer any questions you may have.
